Charlotte Baikie is a Canadian-born primary teacher and children’s author based in the UAE, where she has spent over a decade creating dynamic learning experiences that inspire curiosity, creativity, and joy in young learners.

Known for bringing energy, laughter, games, and storytelling into the classroom, Charlotte has always believed that children learn best when they are genuinely having fun. Seeing how deeply her students connected with playful learning and storytelling inspired Charlotte to create books that capture that same classroom magic for children beyond her walls.

After being encouraged by educational leadership to create original stories for use in school, Charlotte realized she wanted to build something even bigger — meaningful, high-quality children’s literature that combined adventure, imagination, and important life lessons. Rooted in UAE national values and the multicultural spirit of life in the Emirates, her stories encourage young readers to explore the world with wonder, kindness, and open minds.

Through imaginative characters, global adventures, and expressive language rich with alliteration and rhyme, Charlotte creates stories designed to spark laughter, conversation, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning.

When she isn’t teaching or writing, Charlotte enjoys organizing events, making cosutumes for book day, and dreaming up new adventures for Reda and Rashid.
